Moving Medicine is a collaborative initiative led by the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine in the UK
Strategic partners
Moving Medicine was set up and founded in 2018 in partnership with Public Health England and Sport England, using funding from the National Lottery.
Sport Scotland and NHS Scotland became key partners of the initiative in 2019 particularly contributing to the development of the paediatric resources .
The British Association for Sport and Exercise Medicine contributed to and funded the development of the primary care prescribing movement resource.
Our online course, Active Conversations, has been developed in partnership with the Academy for Health Coaching.
